When it comes to luxury, Dubai totally gets it…
I love a nice undiscovered (at least to me) skincare brand, especially when it’s actually SUPER awesome. I was recently introduced to Shiffa, a luxury skin and body line straight from Dubai (e.g. a place that knows luxury) and was incredibly impressed with not only the packaging (crazy awesome) but also the quality and results from the line. Here are three of my favorites:
Shiffa Relaxing Hair Oil// Grape seed and jojoba feed and nourish, sweet birch bark to relax the mind, and lemon balm to relieve anxiety. Roman chamomile soothes the scalp and aromatic lavender calms. I’m into this stuff more than you could believe…
Shiffa Healing Balm// This is the Shiffa must-have beauty secret. Chamomile stimulates the skin while fragrant lavender soothes the skin and soul. It contains arnica extract to restore skin after damage, bruises, etc (awesome). The nourishing, oil rich balm will melt into the skin, making it excellent to use as an evening facial moisturiser. It can be used for all skin concerns, including dryness, itchiness and blemishes and is also perfect as a make up primer to protect the skin. The perfect all round travel companion.
Shiffa Sandalwood Soap// Aside from the adorable evil eye, this soap is crafted using the traditional Arabian cold process method, which means no external heat is used, so the goodness of the natural ingredients are preserved. Infused with Sandalwood, one of the oldest known apothecary ingredient, with over 4000 years of uninterrupted use. Sandalwood is antiseptic, astringent and bas a calming and meditative effect on the mind and soul. This gentle soap can be used on face, body and hair to deeply cleanse without drying.
