Last year’s list was a great way to keep myself on track to have an amazing summer…
I decided to do a new SUMMER BUCKET LIST (new year, new name) to keep myself motivated to actually go outside, be active and take advantage of the great SoCal weather. Here’s my 2014 list:
Outdoor yoga at Runyon:I take these classes every so often (they’re outside under a tree and donation-based!) and I definitely want to take them more often.
Start ballet classes again: I took a few classes last year and then dropped off a bit.
Yamashiro Farmer’s Market: It’s every Thursday night during the summer and it’s SO fun.
Go back to Catalina Island: I went a few years ago with friends and it was super fun. I want to go back and visit the other side of the island this time.
Take a spontaneous weekend trip someplace new: California alone has SO many amazing cities and towns that I still haven’t seen!
Remember to go the BEACH: Again, living in SoCal has its perks and sometimes I get so wrapped up in my own neighborhood that I forget the beach is right there.
Ride my new beach cruiser on the strand: (see the beach to-do above)
Throw a summer rooftop party: I’ve had a few little gatherings here and there but I want to make it a GOAL to get one on the books for this summer.
Hike to the Hollywood sign: I’m gonna have to do some research on how to even get up there, but it’s been on my to-do since I moved to LA.
