So a friend sent me a link to this hilarious cartoon called “Texting Your Way to Love” that really hit home. Not to get “down” on my generation or anything, but sometimes I wonder HOW anyone communicated or interacted before text messaging because so acceptable. I remember back in the day when I seriously despised getting a text because that meant I had to reply via text…and I hated how each key represented 3 letters and you’d have to hit certain ones 2 or 3 times to get it. UGH, I’m getting annoyed just thinking about that. In fact, I don’t think I even really gave in to texting until I got my Treo…with full keyboard and all.
Annnnywho, watch this video if you feel like literally laughing out loud. It hits on every point and criticsm of the text, including how when a guy texts “hey, what’s up?” it ACTUALLY means “hey, wanna have sex?” and how girls will agonize over how to respond and freak out about it for hours. The moral of the story is that you can’t actually get to know someone via text message. The end.
