Hi friends!
Last week was my birthday and so, because of that, I felt like taking a mini vacation (and did!). Honestly, I did the bare minimum work-wise for the first time in a LONG time and it felt amazing. This whole pandemic really just made me appreciate the value of days off and time away, you know? I hope your week is off to a great start…here are a few things making me happy right now…
Things Making Me Happy: 3.15.21
A lip gloss that plumps your lips (and naturally)
This lip gloss (pictured above) caught my eye when it first launched and I ordered one over on Sephora’s site a few weeks ago to try. My thoughts? It lives up to the internet hype not only for giving me super soft and glossy lips, but I swear it also makes my lips look bigger.
The clinically tested, ultra-shiny gloss gives you immediate (and allegedly long-term) softening, hydrating, and visibly plumping benefits. I haven’t tried any other products from Lawless, but I love that they included a formulation in this clear gloss called MAXI-LIP, which is clinically shown to visibly increase lip volume by 40% and decrease the look of wrinkles by 29%! I’m in and would definitely buy again.

The most chic (and functional) hat clips
I’ve talked about these genius hat clips before and I am absolutely obsessed with their new spring designs – this white one with the bauble – HELLO. This is the accessory you didn’t know you needed, but you do.

Ginny and Georgia on Netflix
I know Taylor Swift fans were none too pleased with the Ginny and Georgia streaming series (they made a lame joke about Taylor and, yes, I do agree it was a lazy and dated joke) but…I seriously LOVE this series. In fact, I already rewatched the entire series cause I’m that cool, lol. It’s got everything – mother and daughter drama, teenage life, murder, politics, you name it. LOVE and can’t wait for season two!
A clean candle that smells like hope and dreams
Going with my candle hoarding theme of 2020/2021, I obviously also had to get a candle from the new “it” candle brand NETTE. I went with the Spring 1998 scent, mostly cause the description made me re-live all the hopes and dreams that I HAD in 1998. A happier time, even if I was a freshman in high school, lol. Each candle is hand-poured and made of a coconut and soy wax blend. Also, the glass is handmade in Italy and def very IG-friendly.
