Because the drugstore beauty section always gives me life…

Drugstore Beauty Product Favorites | Honestly Jamie

As much as I love all my Kiehl’s, La Mer, Kate Somerville, etc. I do also REALLY appreciate a good drugstore beauty find (and so do you guys).  That said, not every drugstore beauty product is created equal. That’s why I really enjoy doing these “latest favorites” kind of posts!

These five are, as you know, my latest faves and I’d love to hear if you’ve tried them and loved them (or not?)!

Comment below and let me know.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel nail polish in Frill Seeker

5 New Drugstore Beauty Product Favorites

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel nail polish in Frill Seeker:

I’m big into this super easy gel nail polish!  First off, the color is the perfect neutral shade and you don’t have to use any UV/LED light to apply!  It still lasts about the same amount of time as any salon-applied gel manicure and mine almost always lasts for at least a week and a half!  Oh, and did I mention you can remove it with regular nail polish remover?  My favorite is featured HERE but I’m really into the fact you don’t need to make a second trip to the nail salon, am I right?

Covergirl TrueBlend Base Business Color Neutralizing Skin Primer

Covergirl TrueBlend Base Business Color Neutralizing Skin Primer:

You already know that I’m a fan of makeup primers and this new one from Covergirl is really awesome.  The green tint helps neutralize redness (great if you have mild rosacea like I do) and did a really good job of blurring out fine lines and making my skin look pretty close to flawless.  Like I mentioned, I like the green version but they also have white for skin smoothing, purple for pore minimizing and peach for illuminating…so pick your poison.

Revlon Volumazing mascara | Honestly Jamie

Revlon Volumazing mascara:

I LOVE trying new mascaras, but I especially love when I find a good drugstore mascara that doesn’t cost a fortune. This new Revlon launch intrigued me because, well, the brush is super big and looked right up my alley.  I was correct.  Aside from the tapered and curved brush, the formula is infused with olive oil for amazing eyelash hydration. It also has carnauba and olive waxes to help make the formula clump-free and fanned out for volume! Love.

Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Zit Zapping Dots - Drugstore Beauty Product Favorites | Honestly Jamie

Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Zit Zapping Dots:

Since I don’t break out too often, I love to use zit stickers when I DO get a zit.  I’ve tried (and loved) a pricier version from Peter Thomas Roth, so when I saw this drugstore version I was like YES, PLEASE.  In full disclosure, I did have a hard time peeling off the first one (it broke really easily). But once I realized I needed to peel them off more carefully, it was totally fine. Each dot will blast your breakout with a mix of charcoal, salicylic acid and tomato extract. And I love that they come in two different colors (just for fun).

Shea Moisture Green Coconut & Activated Charcoal Moisturizing Jelly Cream:

I want to start off by saying that this formula is very luxe. It is even better than I thought it would be once I actually tried it.  This gel moisturizer is infused with white tea, green coconut and activated charcoal. It is a great combo for not only skin balance, but also for a burst of mineral replenishment and hydration.  I love using it in the morning to “wake” my skin up a bit. But it’s also really awesome to keep in the fridge for when you’re feeling a little puffy.
