Boscia Tsubaki beauty oil

boscia Tsubaki beauty oil

Like so many people, I spent my whole life being terrified at the idea of putting oil on my face.  And then, a few years ago, I realized the magical powers that a good facial oil can have, especially for dry, sensitive skin like mine.  But guys, even acne-prone skin can handle a good facial oil so don’t be scared to try one out.  I recently tested out Boscia Tsubaki Beauty Oil and oooooohmygod, it’s awesome.  So what is it, exactly?  An anti-aging botanical blend that works to provide serious hydration and protection against free radical damage for ALL skin types.

This beauty oil is an awesome source of  fatty and omega 3 acids, which are fab for the skin, and Wakame (Japanese sea kelp) in the product works to repair past damage by replenishing protein and helping to support natural collagen production. Rice bran oil restores the look of skin for a glowing, gorgeous complexion with its lightweight, non-greasy texture.  By the way, Tsubaki (Camellia) oil has been an essential part of Japanese beauty rituals for centuries…so that’s gotta mean something.

Boscia Luminizing Black Mask

I’ve been on a big Boscia kick lately, as you can see HERE, but when I found myself too tired to go out on Halloween night, I thought “hey, what a perfect night to put on a creepy black face mask.”  The “creepy black mask,” as I like to call it, is actually called the Luminizing Black Mask and ladies, it’s peel-off.  The mask uses Vitamin C, clay and pine bark extract to remove dirt and impurities to refine the tone of your skin and reduce the size of pores.  The results were pretty cool but in all honesty, the fact that it’s black and peel-off is the real appeal for me.  This product will definitely be put into the rotation…

Obsession: Boscia B.B. Cream SPF 27 PA++

I’ve been hearing about B.B. creams for awhile now but it was just recently that I was given the chance to try one…and ladies, it’s magnificent.  What exactly is a B.B. cream, you ask?  Well “B.B” stands for either “beauty balm” or “blemish balm” and basically it’s a moisturizer, foundation, concealer and sunscreen on one.  I mean, right?  It’s somewhat like a tinted moisturizer but what I love about Boscia’s version, the Boscia B.B. Cream SPF 27 PA++, is that the shade is actually self-adjusting so the universal shade warms to complement most skin tones and covers any spots or hyperpigmentation in addition to protecting skin from future sun damage with SPF 27.

The B.B. cream is pretty much ideal for my skin since I’m slightly acne-prone and have sensitive (often red) skin with freckles.  Love this. And really, love anything that’s “big in Japan.”
