Because my fellow bloggers are killing the skincare game…
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask: Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores’ Jet Lag Mask was probably one of the buzziest product launches of the year, and for good reason. This super hydrating cream face mask has tons of skin-loving ingredients (a nourishing mix of vitamins, ceramides, antioxidants, and gently exfoliating extracts) and none of the nasties likehydrogen peroxide, EDTA’s, BHT or BHA, formaldehyde, etc. It’s uber dewy once applied and my skin was legit GLOWING after I used this for the first time.
MARA Universal Face Oil: I’m a BIG TIME advocate of face oil and, yes, you can/should use it, even if you have oily-prone skin. MARA’s version is loaded with age-defying algae, plankton extract and four superfood plant oils and once you try it once, I swear, your skin will look glow-y and super hydrated. You want to use a half dropper full (don’t use too much!) and you can use it day or night. Personally, I like it first thing in the morning after I wipe off all the excess eyeliner and mascara off of my face, lol.
Megababe Thigh Rescue Anti-Chafe Stick: A few years back when I went to Tulum I experienced something awful for the first time…thigh chafe. Truthfully, I did it to myself. We were walking a lot and then rode bicycles to a ruin, all while I was wearing a bikini bottom and a super short sundress. That’s pretty much a recipe for skin chafing and once I got back to the hotel I noticed a super red rash on my inner thighs and, guys, it burned! When I found out about Megababe I ordered it immediately and it really works. The non-toxic formula glides on smooth and instantly melts into skin, creating a friction-free barrier. As you move, thighs that rub together stay cool and free of irritation. Thigh Rescue is formulated with good-for-you ingredients, including aloe and antioxidant-rich vitamin E to soothe; pomegranate seed extract to protect; and grapeseed oil to hydrate. It’s pretty much a must-have for summer for anyone who doesn’t have a #ThighGap.
