Hi friends!
It’s been awhile, I know. Truthfully I needed to take a little break last month…it’s just been a LOT dealing with the sale of my dad’s condo (even harder being 3,000 miles away while doing so), among other things like a little thing called COVID quarantine, etc. You know- just fun times! (This is sarcasm because you always have to laugh).
That said, it’s a new month…my birthday month and a month that feels like a bit of a fresh start for me, in many ways. I don’t know about you guys, but I always love when a new month starts on a Monday, right? 🙂
Have a great week and make sure to subscribe to my email newsletter so you don’t miss any of the March content!
xo,
Jamie

A candle that really does smell like a fancy hotel lobby
If someone said “hey Jamie, what have you been hoarding during COVID quarantine?” the answer would be: matching sweats and CANDLES. And not just any candles, but fancy AF candles at that. I recently told myself I have to chill out on my candle purchases, but one that I bought recently and absolutely love is from a fellow influencer who was brilliant enough to figure out how to condense that irresistible scent that nice hotels always seem to have…and bam- Hotel Lobby candles were born. I’m sure they all smell like heaven, but I bought Paris Nuit and it truly does smell like Paris at night (at least the Paris I knew when I stopped in for a drink at a hotel I couldn’t afford to stay at, lol).

So much good TV
If you follow me on Instagram Stories then you already know my love for television. Lately I have three absolute must-watch recommendations:
1-) Firefly Lane. (Netflix)
I went in thinking I wouldn’t like this – not sure why – but when the season was over I found myself Googling “Firefly Lane season 2 release date.” Ha. There were so many times I found myself experiencing severe secondhand embarrassment for Kate (played by Sarah Chalke, aka Becky number two on Roseanne). But overall it really is a great series about a powerful female friendship and family.
2-) Good Girls. (NBC)
Ok so I am late to the party on this one. Season four starts on March 7th. But I just started watching season one on Netflix last week and OMG OMG it’s SO good; I really slept on this one. I’ll leave you with the official synopsis…
“When three suburban moms get tired of trying to make ends meet, they decide it’s time to stick up for themselves by robbing the local grocery store. But when the manager catches a glimpse of one of them and the loot is far more than they expected, it doesn’t take long for the three best friends to realize the perfect getaway will be harder than they think.”
Another must-binge, trust me.
3-) Only Fans Selling Sexy. (Hulu)
A friend from college was a producer on this documentary and, I gotta tell, you it is ABSOLUTELY FASCINATING. As someone who has often thought to herself “hmmm, maybe I should just sell photos of my feet for extra money” but then realizes she’s too lazy/creeped out to do so, I was legit mesmerized learning how a handful of successful Only Fans creators not only create their content but also actually make good money doing it.

Eco-friendly wet wipes
Not exactly the sexiest of topics, but as someone who likes to use wet wipes I’ve struggled over the years doing so morally. I did my best to find wipes that said “biodegradable” and “flushable”. But always knew in the back of my head that was likely a stretch. Then I got an IG Stories ad from a company called Fohm a few weeks ago. And decided to give them a try. The concept is actually brilliant – you use your own toilet paper (I use the eco-friendly brand Seventh Generation’s 100% recycled tp) and turn it into a “wipe” or sorts using Fohm’s foam.
How it works:
Take your favorite toilet paper and place it under Fohm’s motion activated sensor. The perfect amount of fluffy foam will be dispensed onto your toilet paper, turning it into an angelically soft wet wipe.
And, guys, it really does work. I’m still getting used to the switch and trying to figure out the right amount of foam for me. But, that said, I feel A LOT better about this method vs. those wet wipes. Each day, over 1 million pounds of wet wipes will be flushed — clogging our planet with micro-plastic mush that gets ingested by marine life, not to mention saving your pipes from clogging.
The one bummer is that my toilet counter is slightly tilted. So when I first put the Fohm dispenser on there it slid right off. I ended up buying these little plastic bumpers on Amazon and problem solved. I just wish the dispenser came with a little bit of grip. Since not everyone has a perfectly flat surface to put it on. Other than that, you NEED this in your life.

The viral TikTok baked feta pasta
Most of you have already seen and/or tried the TikTok viral baked feta pasta at this point…but I’m putting it on my list this week since I just re-ordered feta on InstaCart. This pasta is SO easy and SO good. I got fat free feta this time and I’m going to try it with zucchini squash for a lightened up version. Seriously, you will NOT regret making this.
