Gift Idea: Mud Tacos (your niece or nephew)

So I have a little 10 month old nephew, Mark, and I’m completely obsessed with him so when I heard about Mario Lopez’s new children’s book, Mud Tacos, I had to get a copy for my little bug.  I know what you’re thinking…AC Slater is writing children’s books?  Random, I know.  But the book is actually really adorable.  His sister is co-author and the story is based on their actual childhood and how they used to make mud tacos in their backyard.  Sounds like something I would’ve done back in the day…only they probably would’ve been mud hot dogs and french fries.

Gift Idea: LUSH Charity Pot Hand & Body Lotion

So LUSH is pretty much my new obsession and when I heard about their Charity Pot Hand & Body Lotion, I knew it would be an amazing gift choice for pretty much anyone.  100% of the proceeds from this priduct are given to charities around the world that support animal rights, environmental protection and humanitarianism concerns.  On top of feeling like a do-gooder, your giftee will be left with a sick hand and body moisturizer that smells like a spring garden.  Can’t beat that.

Gift Idea: An Overnighter Kit for Your Somewhat Skanky Friend

So I pretty much think this Overnigher kit is genius. And, considering that Hanky Panky panties are individually about $20 each anyway, this kit is a total steal at $38. I can’t tell you how many times it would’ve been nice to have a little “kit” with some foundation, concealer, etc. You could even make your own version using your friend’s favorites- all you need is a cute pair of panties, concealer, lip gloss and maybe even some gum or a mini bottle of Scope!

Speaking of “overnighters” or “school night sleepovers,” as I like to call them…check out this amazingly hilarious clip from “The Today Show” this morning…makes me remember that cringing feeling I get every time my Dad says “let’s hookup sometime this week so I can give you your mail.” EW.

Gift Idea: For Your Cute Niece/Nephew

So lord knows I’m certainly not on the baby track or anything but I came across this adorable kids gift set on Kitson’s Web site and almost melted. Corduroy was one of my FAVORITE books growing up and I just think it’s genius to pair up a pair of PJ’s with an educational (yet still fun) gift. Boy do I sound old…but other book sets are available as well.
