What caught my attention
It’s safe to say that any time Kate Somerville launches a new product I get excited to try it…but the thing is, the new ExfoliKate Glow Moisturizer was particularly intriguing to me because Kate’s infamous ExfoliKate line is literally INFAMOUS (see here and here). Taking that technology and putting into a daily moisturizer? Game changer.
What it claims to be
A daily moisturizer that instantly reveals your skin’s natural glow. It leaves skin feeling softer and smoother in as little as one use. Also, it’s good for dryness, dull and uneven skin texture/tone. The brand claims that the product will “reveal your skin’s natural glow with this daily moisturizer inspired by Kate’s iconic exfoliating product, ExfoliKate Intensive. So, a duo of AHAs—glycolic and lactic acids—combined with pineapple, pumpkin, and papaya enzymes instantly reduce the appearance of surface dullness and uneven skin texture to reveal beautiful, radiant skin.”

So, you know I love a good clinical study! Based on an independent clinical study, after just ONE use 100% of women showed highly significant improvement in moisturization and 97% of women showed highly significant improvement in skin luminosity and radiance. I mean…that’s pretty insane.
What I thought after our first “date”
I can honestly say that I agree with the clinical study. Also, after just one try, my skin LEGIT felt like I had just had a facial. My face felt not only hydrated (what a moisturizer should do), but my skin also looked smooth and felt like I just had a professional treatment done. I’ve been using it pretty consistently (along with It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Skin Relief Treatment Moisturizer – more on that later) and my skin has NEVER looked better. After our first “date” I was all “how have I not had this in my life for years?!” Ladies, get this one. Just trust me.
