So I’ve always had a fondness for all things leopard. I even actually dressed up as a leopard for Halloween several years in a row when I was younger and the obsession didn’t end there. My latest craze is Cartier’s Panthere Collection, as seen sported on Rachel Zoe, another minor obsession. These bold rings and accessories make a huge statement and maybe one day I’ll even be able to afford one! haha.
So I’m really weird about makeup brushes in the sense that I’ve really only recently started using them, ha. I just never saw much need and when I did try using them, the result was always very un-natural looking…especially for the face. However, if I had seen these I probably would’ve snapped up this kit right away! How cute is this Coral Hidden Treasure Bursh Set by Sonia Kashuk? I think it also makes a perfect gift…
So I came across this sneak peek of The Hills episode tonight…PURE COMEDY. Stephanie Pratt had one of the worst interviews I’ve ever witnessed. I have to agree with Kelly as far as having “purse designer” as your objective…I mean, come on. Personally, I think having an “objective” on your resume is bullshit anyway but why would you put purse designer as your objective when you’re interviewing at a fashion PR firm?! HELLO.
So have you ever had a brush with a minor celebrity only for them to end up with an actual celebrity? It makes you wonder…could it have been? LOL. Ok, not really. I met Owen Benjamin a few years ago when he was touring with Nick Swardson and they came to NYC. My friends and I ended up hanging out with them after the show. I obviously thought Owen was good looking…he has my classic m.o- height, pale, sarcastic. Anyway, nothing ever happened…but then my two friends ended up going to see him again the following year with out me and apparently when they saw him, he ASKED ABOUT ME. Shoulda. Coulda. Woulda.
So with the start of the Yankee’s home season opener on April 16th, the city is all a twitter. It’s no secret that I’m not a huge baseball fan but what I AM a fan of is chocolate snacks and themed manicures. Just Calm Down Spa in NYC is honoring the start of this baseball season by honoring New York’s favorite team, the Yankees. They are offering a “Yankee Blue” mani and pedi which also includes a chocolate fondue soak, a chocolate chip cookie dough scrub (inspired by Jeter’s favorite snack) and dark blue polish…a must before being forced into attending a game.
P.S.- Babe Ruth’s #3 and Joe Dimaggio’s #5 determined the prices ($33 for a mani; $55 for the pedi).
