So I’ve decided that Gwen Stefani is probably the cutest pregnant lady EVER and I’m so excited to find out what she is going to name this baby! Gwen and Gavin are so adorable together.

So the May issue of Teen Vogue came out today. I never really had much of an opinion on Mandy Moore– I always thought she was pretty but kinda just “whatever” on the Hollywood scale. Well, I noticed her today; she looks AMAZING on the May cover! She is just one of those girls who looks great as a blonde AND a brunette (people always claim the same about me but I’m sticking with blonde for now)

So I was thinking about how I used to think that I was just like Jessica Simpson– no not in the ditzy air-head way, but in the way that we both seemed to be attracted to our complete opposites. I used to look at Jessica and Nick as hope that I might find my “right opposite”—in a sense that my “right opposite” would actually appreciate me and love every part of me the way I deserve to be loved.(I’m feelin sappy tonight) I’ve had a lot of experience with guys judging me based on superficial things–similar to what Jessica seemed to have gone through with Nick.
Jessica and Nick gave me hope that I wouldn’t be looked at as “snobby” for liking designer things or “immature” for enjoying the occassional drunken night at the bar. But now I see that maybe opposites aren’t so good after all…even watching Newlyweds, you could see the frustration in Nick- but you could also see that he obviously love(d) her as well. I genuinely feel bad for both of them but especially for Jessica. She gave up her early 20’s for him- he was older and had already experienced college…she never had her “crazy time” like the rest of us. But you know what? At least I know it’s not just me…

So I’m completely obsessed with these soft/cozy/fuzzy socks. I’m not sure what their technical title is but they are like walking on clouds! I have two sets of pastels and I still want more. I think you can get them at Target, K-Mart, WalMart,etc. but if you can’t find them try ebay- I found a bunch for cheap.

So I’m really happy and relieved that Nicole Richie and DJ AM got back together (!) I know it’s crazy…I mean, I don’t even know either of them…but there is something about them as a couple that I just L-O-V-E. They’re so cute and seem so in sync and truly in love- which is so rare in today’s world. It just saddens me that she has gotten so thin; I thought she looked amazing on The Simple Life 3– she was skinny but still looked healthy.

So I actually still remember getting one of my first bottles of nailpolish. I had this ivory skirt and blazer set to wear to a family holiday and my Aunt Edna bought me Revlon in “Pure Pearl” to match my outfit…still a classic (and I just got a new bottle)
