My Review of KKW by Kylie Cosmetics Creme Liquid Lipstick
Real talk: I logged on to KylieCosmetics.com the day Kim was set to “drop” her collab with sister Jenner…then I got distracted by what I can only assume was some kind of cat video, and then lost my place in the queue.
So good, right? Alas, a week or so later they announced their re-stock and I was able to get a kit with out waiting in a digital line, which is the way that I like to roll. A few days later Kim’s set of four creme liquid lipsticks arrived at my door (with a note from Kim, obvs), and I immediately tested out the gloss appropriately dubbed “Kim.” The other color names? “Kimberly,” “Kiki,” and “Kimmie” – a little narcissistic sure, but I actually also think it’s pretty funny and now I wish there were four variations of MY name.

I’m wearing “Kim” in the photo above, which I actually really love. If we’re being honest here, the color variation between the four shades is pretty minimal, so if you like one color, you’ll likely love ALL the shades…i.e. you’ll wear and get use out of all four of these babies.

What do you guys think? When I shot this post I assumed they would do another re-stock, but since Kim announced her own upcoming beauty line launch, KKW BEAUTY, I’m not sure they’ll do another re-stock of her collab with Kylie! God, now I feel like I’m sitting on some kind of eBay GOLDMINE…only I swatched/wore every shade, lol, so not sure the value will be Beanie-Baby-circa-1992-worthy.
Also, like I mentioned above, I 100% did not notice that the caps don’t perfectly match the tubes but, legit, now that’s all I can see when I look at these and it hurts my brain.
