The 3 Cleansers I’ve Been Using and Loving Lately

Because a good cleanser can make a world of difference…

I’m not one that will say that you need to spend a lot of money on a facial cleanser (save those dollars for serums and moisturizers, IMO), but that doesn’t mean that you don’t need a GOOD cleanser.  As someone with sensitive/dry skin, I personally love a cleanser that really hydrates while removing makeup and debris, yet also still really works, you know?  Here are three of my latest favorites…

Prequel Non-Drying Glycerin Cleanser

This new brand is definitely going to continue to be on everyone’s radar. Their non-drying cleanser literally melts aways makeup (seriously – after one swipe my foundation just wipes away), and I love that you can use it on both the face AND body…hence why the bottle is quite large. Clinically tested for 24 hours of moisture, this non-stripping glycerin cleanser is formulated with 50% glycerin, inulin, and a unique aquaporin-stimulating active to boost skin suppleness. It’s designed for all skin types, but I can personally attest to the fact that it works wonders on dry or easily sensitized skin like mine. LOVE.

Naturium Purple Ginseng Cleansing Balm

A long-time favorite of mine, this cleansing balm is formulated with purple ginseng, plant-based esters and a nourishing blend of linoleic-rich oils that help to dissolve makeup, oil, sunscreen and other impurities.  Aside from the fact that it’s fun to apply (I like to use a little metal spatula like above), this balm emulsifies on contact and my skin is legit always smooth, soft, and glowing after I cleanse with this stuff. Will forever repurchase.

Jamie Makeup B.F.M.R. Mist

Lastly, you may remember I mentioned this new makeup removing spray in a recent blog post, and I still stan verrry much.

Jamie Greenberg (celebrity makeup artist and overall awesome person) has done it again. The Best F*ing Makeup Remover (B.F.M.R.) is a SPRAY (so unique!), and it does a great job of removing makeup…plus, I mean, the packaging is also fun for me since we share the same name 🙂  Once misted on the face, the silky formula is massaged into the face and wiped away without a tug. Your skin is left feeling clean, calm and nourished. Oh, and did I mention that the glass bottle is also refillable?!

  1. These cleansers sound absolutely fantastic! It’s refreshing to see you prioritize quality without breaking the bank. The Prequel Non-Drying Glycerin Cleanser, with its makeup-melting and hydrating properties, is especially appealing for sensitive, dry skin like mine. Naturium’s Purple Ginseng Cleansing Balm seems like a dream with its smooth, softening effects. And the Jamie Makeup B.F.M.R. Mist’s unique spray format and makeup-removing prowess, not to mention the refillable glass bottle, make it a real winner. Thanks for sharing these gems; I can’t wait to try them out!
