Because I’m now obsessed with putting on eye cream…
(p.s.- click through to see a gif of me using the device- my first gif!)
Oh yeah, I’m pretty excited about my first gif since I wanted to be able to show you guys how I use the Foreo Iris Illuminating Eye Massager. I met with their PR team a few months back when they were taking meetings in LA, and as soon as they showed me how this thing worked I was SUPER excited. I mean, who doesn’t want an eye massage, right? Since my crow’s feet are the pretty much the ONE sign I of aging I can visibly see on my face I’m always on the lookout for new devices and treatments that will make wrinkle prevention a little less annoying and I’m reallllly into using the Iris as part of my nightly routine.
Here’s what it does:
The Iris helps reduce the appearance of under-eye puffiness, eye bags, dark circles, crow’s feet, and fine lines and wrinkles. It rejuvenates the eye contour for a smoother, brighter, and more youthful appearance while improving the absorption of eye creams and serums.
I use it for about one minute every day total, meaning about 30 seconds on each eye but don’t get too nervous about overdoing it because the Iris has a built-in timer that will auto shut off once the device is done working it’s magic.
Side note: if you’re interested in trying out the Foreo Iris I found the most amazing deal ever—for the SAME PRICE as a single Foreo Iris you can also get Kate Somerville’s Dermal Quench Liquid Lift + Retinol and Kate’s Retinol Firming Eye Cream with THIS KIT. Since I’m also a HUGE Kate Somerville fan this is pretty much the deal of a lifetime.
Now as far as the eye cream I use with my Iris, I’ve been consistently using La Mer Illuminating Eye Gel BUT you can use whatever eye gel, cream or serum that you want. I’ve been meaning to test out this version from La Mer for awhile so it was good fit, natch. This eye gel (you know I love a gel product) instantly energizes and awakens your skin, lighting up your eyes and, if I’m not totally imagining this, gives you just a little hint of shimmer. So far I’ve been loving how soft and shimmery the area around my eyes have been and I’m excited to see if my fine lines continue to diminish.
