15 Random Things I Bought On Amazon in the Past 6 Months That You Will Love

Random Amazon Things that you will love

Because we all love Amazon and here’s a list of random things I bought and loved…

Amazon is addictive and, I swear, since the Amazon app was invented I sometimes wonder how we ever lived without it.  Here’s a list of 15 random things I bought on Amazon in the past six months. I love them all. Shop away and I apologize in advance to your bank account.

15 Random Things I Bought On Amazon in the Past 6 Months

1-) Biena Chickpea Snacks:

I’m always looking for “healthy” snacks that might seem a little like potato chips; potato chips are yet to be replicated in any kind of healthy way.  But I have to admit- I LOVE these chickpea snacks!  They’re crunchy like chips and have just the right amount of salt.  Plus, since they’re chickpeas and have a lot of protein, you get full faster and don’t eat as many.

2-) Polka dot maxi dress:

I stumbled across this dress on Amazon a few weeks ago and thought “why not”? I ended up wearing it to my uncle’s rehearsal dinner last weekend and it was perfect- fits like a glove and super cute.

3-) The perfect white t-shirt:

I realized recently I only have one decent white t-shirt at this point (that, you know, didn’t get stained instantly).  This one had good reviews and I like how it’s a classic cut and style.  The fit is also great, so I’m glad it comes in a two-pack.

4-) SmartSweets Peach Rings:

3 grams of sugar and 80-90 cals for the whole bag? Sign me up, please.  I used to eat peach rings in high school and college as my non-chocolate candy go-to and, sure, these don’t taste 100% the same but they’re a LOT healthier and full of fiber.

5-) Goli Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies:

My dad was always a big ACV everyday advocate but, truth be told, I always fall off the wagon when I try to drink it daily.  It’s just NOT exciting in its pure form, you know?  I saw an ad for these apple cider vinegar gummies on Instagram and I am SO HAPPY I DID.  They taste delicious so I’m actually excited to eat two every morning.  They’re vegan, organic, gluten and gelatin-free, non-GMO and all that good stuff so they’re basically good for everyone.  ACV is proven to help with digestion, energy, skin issues and so much more. So consider me an official fan of Goli ACV gummies from now on.  Oh and if you need even more motivation, for every bottle you purchase, Goli donates a six-month supply of vitamins to a child in order to fight malnutrition around the world. Bravo, Goli.

6-) Wordslut by Amanda Montell:

I met Amanda awhile ago at one of the many beauty events I attended, and I always thought she was super smart and talented, but when I read her first book, Wordslut, I found myself saying “oh my god YES” out loud while reading.  It’s described on Amazon as “a brash, enlightening, and wildly entertaining feminist look at gendered language and the way it shapes us” which is 150% true.  It’s a must-read for every woman, feminist or not, because Amanda is indeed a linguist.

7-) Tweezerman Stainless Steel Point Tweezers:

These have been my g0-to tweezers for years and I was due for a new pair since my old pair got pretty dull and stopped working as well.

8 -) Turban bow headbands:

I finally caved with the whole headband trend after finding this pack of six. I love all the colors and the headbands are chic and trendy, but not juvenile.

9-) Baby Foot foot peel:

Baby Foot is my bi-monthly guilty pleasure, guys!  I’ve blogged about it before and I’m still just as obsessed.

10-) Leopard print scrunchies:

Apparently, all the hair accessories from my childhood are officially back!  I decided I wanted to start sleeping with my hair in a scrunchie as opposed to a hair tie. These are just super cute and fun.

11-) Compression socks:

After my 20-hour flight to Thailand, I saw how swollen my feet can get from flying and became terrified at the idea of getting a blood clot. Yes, I know I’m a bit of a hypochondriac but it really is a thing that happens, and if carrying a pair of these compression socks on every flight will prevent a clot well then sign me up.

12-) Aluminum frame black suitcase with brown strap:

Speaking of Thailand, I needed a medium-sized suitcase (I only had a carry-on and a HUGE suitcase) and thought this one looked cute.  I have to admit, I still have mixed feelings on the whole hard-shell suitcase thing.  But it definitely did its job and I love the look of it.

13-) Hydro flask water bottle:

This water bottle is pretty much famous and I found out about it thanks to Lauryn of The Skinny Confidential, and for good reason.  It really and truly does keep your water cold for up to 24 hours. I didn’t believe it myself until I tried it, but it’s true.  And who wants to drink room temperature water, right? NOT THIS GIRL.  I just bought a pink one for my mom and a blue one for my nephew and they’re already obsessed.

14-) Natural Heaven Lasagna Hearts of Palm:

As an Italian who loves Italian food, I’m always on the hunt for healthier/lightened-up Italian dishes.  Truth: I didn’t think this would taste as good as it actually does.  Once you add in some tomato sauce, part-skim ricotta and lite mozzarella (all from Trader Joe’s), it is LEGIT INSANE DELICIOUS.  I also love adding in some ground turkey bolognese for protein and to make it more filling.  This is currently one of my favorite go-to meals and you will not regret trying it.

15-) 100% natural nail polish remover:

I’ve also blogged and posted about this all-natural nail polish remover many times before because it is that good.  I was due for a refill so I got a new bottle…but let me refresh you on why it’s great.  Pure Vitality Beauty nail paint remover is free from acetone, acetate, ethyl lactate, and petroleum chemicals – all of which are harmful with repeated or prolonged exposure. And, another bonus, my hands, and nails did NOT feel as dry as they usually do after using regular polish remover.

This stuff is actually moisturizing (they say it’s even safe for cancer patients)!  All ingredients are rated 0 or 1 in the cosmetic safety review by the Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep database (non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-carcinogenic and pregnancy safe, guys). I mean. I really wish I had discovered this years ago…and the smell doesn’t scare the shit out of my cats like regular nail polish remover.
