Video: A 3-Month Check in

Soooo, as you guys know, I’m a Brand Ambassador for Women’s ROGAINE and I wanted to take some time to give you a little “check in” on all things hair growth since it’s been three months since I started using the new Foam formulation for women, and that’s about the amount of time where you start to see some results! I certainly don’t consider myself a patient person; I think we all know that three months is a solid amount of time to wait but it’s TOTALLY worth it, I promise. When you start to see those little baby hairs growing in you’re just like “Yes! Victory!”

aboutHi, I’m Jamie.

I’m a former beauty and fashion publicist/social media expert, turned blogger (though I still do consult in digital marketing for brands!).  After years of working on the PR and marketing side of the beauty industry, I decided to take my insider knowledge and start HonestlyJamie.com.  My main goal is to help my blog readers and IG/TikTok followers decipher between which products really work and what’s just marketing BS – I’m known for my honesty, after all.  With Honestly Jamie, started in 2006 (yes, one of the first beauty blogs ever!), I give my readers daily doses of beauty, lifestyle, fashion and pop culture…with a little sarcasm mixed in.

In addition to being Founder/Editor of HonestlyJamie.com, Jamie  also contributes to TODAY.com and The Sunday Edit. All clips can be seen here.

Jamie has partnered with dozens of  brands, such as LANCOME, Dr. Dennis Gross, Shiseido, L’Oreal Paris, COVERGIRL, Express, Degree Women, Equinox, CVS, Polo Ralph Lauren, Acura, Olay, Old Spice, Neutrogena, La Roche Posay, HSN, Almay, Walgreens, Macy’s, American Eagle, and many more.

Jamie has been featured as a beauty expert and blogger in PeoplePeople StyleWatch, Lucky, All You, OK! magazine TV, NewBeauty.com, SHAPE.com, StyleCaster.com, POPSUGAR.com, AccessHollywood.com, ivillage.com, HelloGiggles.com, Bustle.com, Macys.com, TotalBeauty.com, TODAY.com, WomensHealthMag.com, and many more.

Real Talk: The Truth About Fine Hair

I’m constantly preaching about how much I love my hair extensions, but back in January I decided to go au naturale and let my real hair grow out for a bit.  Why? Why would I ever give up long, thick hair?  Well, for starters, after about eight months straight of having the best extensions ever (keratin-tip, I’m telling you), I started to get nervous about how short/damaged my real hair was underneath everything.  Luckily, the keratin-tip hair extension process is pretty gentle (as long as you take care of your extensions) so I really only had about an inch of split ends once they were out…and that’s basically like just not getting a hair cut for that long- no biggie.

Over the years I’ve MASTERED the art of my fine hair and how to beat what I annoyingly ended up with but, hey, I’ve got PLENTY of other amazing qualities, thankyouverymuch.  Here are a few of my trade secrets for fine hair…
